The mystery of the universe is enticing and unperceivable at the same time.
Keeping the same thought, an educational trip was organised for the students of Grades 4 and 5 to the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bengaluru, on 1st September, 2026.
The students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the planetarium with great excitement and enthusiasm.
The highlight of the trip was the show ‘the Sun and its family’, which presented fascinating information about the universe through an engaging audio-visual experience. The dome projection showcased 3D movements of celestial bodies which left the students thrilled and stars and they learnt about the cosmos in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner.
The students also explored the exhibits and displays at the planetarium. The visit helped them connect the concepts they had learnt in their science lessons with real-world observations and experiences.
The visit was designed to give them an opportunity to learn more about space, the solar system, planets, stars, galaxies and various astronomical phenomena and it truly also provided them an opportunity to develop curiosity, scientific thinking, teamwork and observation skills and concluded on a happy and enriching note.
